Help build Trinkets
from the ground up
Trinkets is an emerging nonprofit organization working to reduce event waste while making celebrations more sustainable, affordable, and accessible through the reuse and resale of donated event décor, supplies, and materials.
We are seeking individuals from a variety of professional and community backgrounds who are excited about helping build Trinkets from the ground up.
Estimated completion time: 5 minutes.
THE COMMITMENT
What joining involves
TERM
Three years, and up to two consecutive terms.
MEETINGS
At least quarterly, with occasional additional meetings or activities during the startup period.
PEIOR BOARD EXPERIENCE
Not required.
GIVING
A contribution is expected but not required. Roles and expectations are covered at the onboarding meeting.
THE WORK
Waste diversion and material reuse, sustainable celebrations education, and community celebration access.
BOARD SIZE
Five to nine members, recruited for a range of professional and community backgrounds.
